The first edition of the Winter Enthusiast Running Game Challenge has officially come to an end.
We want to say a huge congratulations to everyone
who took part and completed one of the two challenge options — or even both:
- 50 km between December 24 and January 1
- 26 km on January 1, 2026
This winter challenge brought together over 200 runners from Poland, Estonia, Germany, Austria, Spain, the USA, or India, all united by the same mindset and love for running. Everyone who completed the challenge can truly call themselves a winner.
Thanks to our amazing partners, we were also able to raffle a total of 35 prizes. These included ENTHST gear such as Drop Off Bags, High Vis T-Shirts, and Fast Forward Socks, as well as professional Marathon Kits and soft flasks from 226ers.pl, cosmetic sets and DO-IT_ALL creams from SORD, breathing support patch sets from Daily Breathe, and — the cherry on top — 6 months of personal coaching with trainer Bart Dawidek.
Congratulations to all the winners (we contacted each of you personally), and huge respect to every finisher. We also want to congratulate those who didn’t manage to complete the challenge but still gave it a try. Showing up, committing, and pushing yourself already matters — because the most important thing is to stay an enthusiast.
Expect more motivating events and challenges from ENTHST later this year. Follow us on Instagram and join our Strava club to stay connected.
Be enthusiast!

A Smart Approach to the running challenges: Strategies by Bart Dawidek
Winter running can be demanding. Short days, cold air, no sun, and that strange feeling of being stuck between seasons. I know this period all too well. Many runners lose their rhythm in winter, the form starts to fade, and that’s exactly why I was happy to see ENTHST launch a challenge that isn’t “art for art’s sake,” but a true test of consistency and mental strength.
Fueling Strategy with 226ERS for a 26 km Run
A trail run in January over a distance of 26 km is not only a solid test of endurance, but above all a training session where your nutrition strategy can completely shape how your final kilometers look. Cold weather masks thirst, you breathe dry, icy air, and the wind plus demanding terrain increase your overall energy expenditure.
The cold is unforgiving - take care of your skin before you go training.
Running in winter… You leave the house, you're cold, after the first kilometer you're too warm, after the second you start sweating, and after five you realize your face feels like it's been hit by an Arctic wind. And that's when your skin starts to have a mind of its own.
It’s Not Just Your Legs That Do the Running. How to Breathe Easier on Your Winter Runs.
Breathing while running is a whole topic in itself — especially in winter. Cold air, long-distance effort, and a pace that was supposed to be “easy,” but somehow… wasn’t. A clogged nose, open mouth, dry throat — the full set.
